We were saved the plan was always if the Aussies were to win then it had to be broadcaast in europe with a co partner which would have been us so we would have done it

So glad Australians didn't win. Country not from Europe winning wud have been embarrassing for Europe. But some countries were ass kissing. Thanks to the phone vote. Ukraine won. Deserved winners. Such a powerful song. Britain shite again. How bad can it get.

Subjective, of course, but how the fuck did Ukraine win?

Least poor, for me, Australia or Armenia.

Amazing that they have found an even more weird way to screw around with the scoring

EU has nothing to do with Eurovision anyone who says otherwise is a moron Think about it who who came in the top Ukraine Aus and Russia those well known EU countrys

and its because they dont like us hmmmm Ireland didnt even make the final is that cos the europeans dont like the irish course fucking not everyone loves the irish

the voting went to shit when all the eastern non eu countrys came in the Jani's as i like to call them

Like i say the eurovision is the price we pay for olympic and worldcup coverage that are sorted out by the EBU and we get them a awful lot cheaper than if we had to go to the IOC and FIFA for indiviual rights

If we vote for Brexit then would that also mean we would also withdraw from Eurovision? I did think that that voting system totally ruined it a little, but I did think that the songs were performed quite quickly. I have to say we are only flopping because our songs don't probably come up to scratch with what the rest of Europe & Australia put out. This time next year we'll probably see a USA contender..bloody hell then it wouldn't be Eurovision anymore if that happens..
I think we should get Iron Maiden or maybe David Coverdale to perform our song next year, If Finland can win it with a heavy Metal song, then why can't we? Britain has some of the best loved heavy metal acts in the world. I think they could do something pretty special and especially if they can involve Eddie as well!! They probably might have a song tucked away somewhere written that they have never used that might be pretty suite for it.

How the Ukraine won that vote is beyond me...And again the ass kissing by the European bloc starts I thought the new system had been designed to get rid of that problem, seems like nothing changed in that direction they have been quick to find a way around it...

And judging by the Govt white paper on the BBC's future, they aren't going to be that much cheaper for us any more.

Obviously not - loads of last night's participating countries are not members of the European Union.
