Bet Boris didn't even think the Good Friday Agreement would be affected in the first place. That probably wasn't the one aspect that he even considered before spouting his plan. At least the US Congress can see the ramifications for the Agreement.

and if Farage existed in a vacuum then that would have no real effect but since he is the leader of a pro Brexit party that received the most votes in The European Parliamentary Elections his stance and view have real world repercussions such and dividing Brexiteer opinion and undermining the mandate of any Brexit deal

John Major & Tony Blair both warned that the Irish Border would be an issue BEFORE the referendum but because they were Remainers & hated by some within there own parties they were rubbished by the Brexiteers. So called Project Fear looks more & more like Project Reality. Johnson doesn’t give a fuck about anything or anyone but himself. He could well be the last Prime Minister of a combined England, Wales, Scotland & Northern Ireland.

I think he'll call a snap election and that majority will overrun by Labour i don't think he'll be PM long enough to meet the Oct 31 deadline, by then we'll probably be at war with Europe
