Why do you care? We are leaving the EU so will have no say on what they want to do.

It's going to come as quite a shock to some people that 'taking back control' also means relinquishing any control over what the EU does going forward.

Its been more than a Trading bloc for about 20 years since it had its own currency it also has its foreign policy and its own ambassadors

Remainers were adamant that there were no plans for an EU Army. They were wrong.

I thought the EU was a multicultural utopia a place where everybody lived without borders and in perfect harmony, happily ruled by an unelected elite who made decisions in its citizens best interest without the need to consult them? So i ask yet again why does the EU need its own army?

when the russians are on your borders you might want an army to defend yourself

They already have an army for that, its called NATO.

Why do we need an army or airforce then we are the same as the EU countrys ?
why do we spend 2% of our GDP on arming ourselves and up to 50bn on Nukes

money we could spend on health and eductation and trains and making ourselves a first world country again ?

I don't think it's a good thing and I doubt it will ever happen. Certainly Merkel's not going to be there to see it through.
Alot has changed recently though. America under Trump is no longer viewed as a reliable ally in Europe.
It has put the wind up Trump though, which is no bad thing. If it stops him from trying to undermine NATO, maybe that's all they're trying to achieve.

For the last fifty odd years Europe has been more than happy to be the USA,s bitch so what has suddenly changed?
