Youtube History On Smart TV

The other day I noticed that my Youtube APP on my TV has updated its version. To cut a long story short when you fire it up it now has a what to watch suggestions and well it's been suggesting some err rather adult orientated movies which I'd previously watched

I never expected this as I've been accessing Youtube TV with the pairing up of my smartphone, I've tried to delete my history and cookies on the telly but this hasn't worked. I need to get shot of the what to watch list before any of my mates come round and fire the app up and see it.

I have a Panasonic Viera TV if this is of any use, any help in clearing this option would be greatly appreciated as to spare my blushes

Now, this may sound silly, but in case nothing else works youtube wants people to watch what other people are watching. They'd rather have viral hits and easily led viewers of top videos than people with "niche" viewing habits. Watch a bunch of Minecraft videos, film trailers, How It Should Have Endeds, Frozen cover versions and anything by that insufferable shitbag PewDiePie or the equally, but differently, insufferable Zoella. Before you know it, your recommended section will be filled with the kind of boring, mostly incomprehensible, crap 13 year olds are interested in. Problem solved. Sort of.

When your mates see the Frozen soundtrack and PewDiePie in your recommendations, there may be a whole new set of problems.
