Was just reading about certain changes made to Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket(1987).Originally Animal Mother(Adam Baldwin)decapitated the teenage Vietnamese sniper but it was changed after being deemed too violent. Also Joker's(Matthew Modine)fate was different, the original ending had him being shot dead in Hue with intercuts of him as a boy. Again it was seen to be too grim and violent and was subsequently changed.

Wonder Man (1945) Allen Jenkins, who plays a gangster in this film, later provided the voice for Office Dibble in the classic cartoon Top Cat.

Harrison Ford was producer Steven Spielberg's original choice to play Eddie Valiant in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?(1988).Ford's price was too high so after a few other actors were mentioned, the role ended up going to Bob Hoskins.

Its hard to think of anyone doing a better job than Bob Hoskins.
