Thank You Chromecast

I was only recently tipped off about this device so I spent 30 quid on it last week and after setting it up I can finally watch babes in all their glory on my 39" TV and not just on my phone/PC.

How does that work exactly? Is it different to just plugging your computer into the TV (which is what I do)?

I saw a feature about this yesterday on the BBC news channel "Click" program. They said that the dongle plugged into the tv does the actual streaming work so your computer is freed up to do other work. Looks like a good idea.

does anyone know if it can stream videos from google drive straight onto the tv might be worth getting then

would have been better if you can use ethernet instead of wifi only

I've certainly found the chromecast useful in watching the babes on my TV while still chatting or browsing the forums/web at same time.

It has been this multi-tasking wanker's dream bit of tech this year!
