I assume yes means yes he should be sacked and not yes he should be given time?

Absolutely Agree!!!

Think he came in at a transitional time where he would need to move a lot of players out and build the team up again. I suspect he will be doing a lot of business in the next transfer window

If I was an argumentative person I would point out that this weak squad won the Premier League last season with 6 matches in hand.

I'm a United fan and think he should be given time to put his stamp on the squad, I do agree with what you want to say William H Bonney It can't be called a weak squad just a ageing squad with some dead wood and players not playing to thier full for the club it does need new blood but not a new manager, he really should have gone out of his way to keep a lot of the backroom staff to help him out.
