All I can say about the season finale is that it's not supposed wrap up the usually way which either could be a good thing or a bad thing.

It's gonna be really hard not to give away any spoilers but it was by far one of the best Eps of Season. They throw nearly everyone in here, there's the return of Captain Cold which isn't a spoiler i won't say what he does but has big part to play.
Another great thing about this Ep is they explain everything so now everything makes sense. Grant Gustin was fantastic in the dual roles with the normal Barry and the evil Barry aka Savitar who you learn more of why his so evil and twisted
There are a couple of mini crossovers and characters from the different shows.
This Ep had the right balance of darkness and humour. There is a tiny twist that happens and as for the ending it's totally fucked big time which sets up the finale perfectly.
Forgot to mention there were a few comic book and film Easter eggs, it was one emotional Ep. You may spot the big joke taking the piss out out of the show which shows the show has a sense of humour. There's all so a hint about certain set of people.

Watched it on tonight on sky1 and I needed the hankies at the end as it was indeed a very emotional episode and also agree one of the best episodes of this season.

The Easter Egg in Ep 21 where Cisco talks about Star Trek and asks HR if he has it on his Earth, HR then says Voyager and Cisco says he hates spin offs is a little joke and nod to The Flash being a spin off Arrow lol.

As for the finale I know Savitar/Evil Barry's master plan and it's pretty fucked up and insane lol.
