Which Sat Receiver should i get

Hey

Im thinking of replacing my sky as its costing me nearly 100 quid a month for all the bits and peices funny thing is i only watch GOLD dave and the babe shows so its a huge waste of money !!!

been looking on Ebay and amazon for sat receivers was wondering if anyone has any recomendations dont mind running 2 boxes to get the same functions as the sky box just want to be able to record and watch babechannels all the other stuff like iplayers and the like i can get on other devices like my pc

I'm thinking of changing from Sky tv to Virginmedia, I've never had Virginmedia and was wondering how the babe channels were set up, (Can you get them)? can anyone advise me on this? Thanks

there are no babechannels on Virgin Media

but you can use the sky box without the sky card to view the babechannels

only thing is u cant use record using the box unless u pay £10 a month for the basic subscription
