nottooold, can I ask you a question? Given that Evelyn obviously hasn't appeared today, and thus was unable to let anyone know that she's ill, how do YOU know the score with her health? You seem to have some kind of pipeline to her every situation, and always act as her mouthpiece here. I'm genuinely curious as to what kind of 'relationship' you have with her. No problem! Evelyn and I exchange emails occasionally and by coincidence she sent me one yesterday saying she had a cold but hoped to be able to work today. I haven't heard from her today, but obviously she hasn't recovered.

When she's working I tend to speak to her on the phone and ask her the sort of questions that get discussed here, and therefore tell everyone what she says, if I think it is helpful and informative. It's that simple, I'm afraid! Sadly, no "relationship"!

well to be fair to evelyn she did help me feel better when i had flu a while back. so im popping round with the lemsip and vicks vapor rub

That is a long and severe cold if she knows she won't be fit for a shift 3 days away.

You never know it might just be s66 shit schedule... i think they just hope someone turns up at this point

Certainly all semblance of discipline and commitment seems to have evaporated at the channel in the last month.

No sign of Evelyn for the rest of this week on the newly updated schedule.

I'll admit I'm such a worrywart I wonder if the reason Fernanda left early the other day was to check on her friend
Then again, maybe Eve just took the opportunity to have a holiday, which I don't think she's done in a while.
