Doesn't seem to be a one off, we've still got the circa 2015 music again tonight- all syncopated piano-synths and the bloke bellowing "Dream Away / Just Wanna Make You Happy" etc. What's-his-name will be back telling us to tighten up the bass if we're not careful.

While it fits the recent nostalgic mood, part of me hopes this doesn't mean we've truly seen the last of the contemporary glory that is the "Summertime / Love Will Shine All The Time" medley.

I think that background music was considerably better than the annoying looped sruff they play now-Summertime in Winter yeah very seasonal that

I totally agree with you! The 2015 music annoys me so much that I have to turn the sound off! The music played until recently was the best there's ever been, and I loved it so much that it kept me watching, even when the visuals were boring!

"My friends...the DJ is with me" they comfort him you know and that tighten up that bass now sounds a lot like oops upside your head.
