And now poor Stevie is suffering the same fate.

Don't they tell these guys about the black boxes and the OSG at the bottom of the screen?

just reading all the comments about the OSG!! and there aint much to say that hasnt been said, theyre terrible u can see the camera guys sometimes tryin to fit the shot into the available space but mostly they block out a face or ass if its at the other side of the screen, Bs said theyre workin on new OSG's and they will be ready for new year, wtf???
its a basic graphic that could be done in an hour (my mates a gfx designer) stop lyin to people BS u just wanna advertise the f**k out of everything!!! a simple banner at the bottom of the scren on rotation would do the job take a look at ur competition "elite,bangbabes" and sort it out!!
p.s. did notice there was no presenter on BS last nite interupting every 5 mins im guessing it was a one off but damn it made the show more enjoyable without geri!! u dont need a presenter on a show like this, no ones listening!!

We're building a whole new system for how we make, serve and change our OSG, which doesn't take an hour, it takes weeks to code and train people in how to use a new system. A system that, when it is eventually in place, should make a big difference to what's happening on screen. There's no point even trying to lie to you lot considering the amount of stick we sometimes get when we're telling the truth... so no, we're not lying.

Did you call your graphics designer mate before posting to ask him how long he thinks it would take to make a compliant on screen graphic in flash from scratch, test it, and put it out and he said an hour? He sounds amazing, maybe we should offer him a job!

I do despair sometimes....

fair play lol, maybe takin into acount all the other stuff it would take longer but im just sayin the inital gfx design doesnt take long, im just havin a rant lol its frustraiting big black boxes on the screen tryin 2 see a girl past them.. roads in london are less busy than the screen sometimes hahah

I'm sure we're all very pleased and grateful to know that a new system is on the way - hopefully it will be, as you suggest, a big improvement.

In the meantime there are things that can be done to eliminate most of the nuisance.

The biggest problem is that for the most part the cameramen take no account of the boxes when framing their shots and simply keep the image of the featured girl(s) in the centre of the screen. This puts the girls too close to the boxes on the left (one or other or both of which are almost permanently present) and often leaves empty space to the right (assuming the right-hand box isn't in use). There are sometimes token efforts to shift the girls away from the boxes, but not very often or effectively and in any case this can cause its own problem if the right-hand box is then inserted.

Two simple measures would cure this:

1. Stop using the box on the right-hand side of the screen.

2. As the left-hand boxes take up almost a third of the screen's width, make this a no-go area. This can be done very simply by instructing the cameramen to put the main focal point of the desired image about a third of the way in from the right-hand edge of the screen. The girl(s) would then occupy the right-hand two-thirds of the screen and minimise the chance of interference from the boxes occupying the other end.

Those two simple steps would stop most, if not all, of the obstruction caused by the boxes.

Will you also be giving them spelling lessons? Seriously, on BSD the annoying white box kept telling us we could "Listen into" the girl on screen, while on Xtra we were invited to text our "huesses" as to which girl would be naughtiest at the Christmas party

Glamourchase is the worst thing that's happened to the Cellcast Freeview channels since I've been watching them.

Yes, even worse than BSXtreme – its advertising and constant plugging might be the biggest pains in the known universe, but at least it doesn't take the best girls away from us. Since the arrival of GC all the classiest BS girls are hidden away from Freeview where we can't see them until 3am.

It's been a disaster for Paige's Freeview fans. After having our hopes raised on Sunday, all we got Monday night was 45 minutes on BS1 and a token 6 minutes on GC (split screens don't count with me). Last night was worse still – just 38 minutes on BS1.

Freeviewers have also seen hardly anything of Stevie since she returned to the shows. Wednesday night all we got was two half-hour stints (one of which was a very tame 2-4-1) and one lasting a miserly 9 minutes. The first one should have been longer but, not for the first time, Ch 96 was almost 10 minutes late getting a picture on air. When it did get going it was torn to shreds by interruptions by Karina plugging Xtreme. Last night we got a little more, but not much. First there was 20 minutes of tame 2-4-1 with Rio (they couldn't even be bothered to arrange the schedule so Freeview got all her first BSXtra session – the solo bit was Sky-only) – her face was obscured by a black box in parts of this. Later there was a decent length BSXtra solo, when we saw a hint of the Stevie we've grown to love. There was a token 5 minutes on GC.

Freeview is also seeing a lot less of other classy girls like Ella and Kandi.

BS has two channels while GC has only one, so to my mind that means the girls' appearances should be in a ratio of 2:1 in favour of BS. I don't care if Paige and Stevie are Glamour Chase girls they're first and foremost Babestation girls. (If, as alleged, Paige is a Glamour Chase girl, how come there's no mention of her on glamourchase.com?) Ella and Kandi aren't even claimed to be Glamour Chase girls.

Not letting the girls' Freeview fans see their favourites just isn't right.

I agree about some of the women NOT being actual Glamour Chase women. Like most of us have said, the set and picture is good, but everything else about this channel is not. As we expected, it's pretty much Partyland, only tamer.
