A truly sickening act which has been rightly condemned by people from all faiths. But in many ways the problem has been one of our own making, for too long we have allowed a handful of twisted individuals to spread their vile message of hatred with impunity, corrupting the minds of susceptible young people and assisting them in their evil acts. The ruling political parties of the last few years have known about these so called preachers and failed in their primary duty, to protect the people, by either locking them up forever or throwing them out of the country.

I also think to a certain degree a bit of complacency had settled in within the UK. We all thought that some kind of terrorist activity might have happened during the 2012 Olympic Games but no it passed without incident. The UK had nothing to worry about. I agree we had a feel good factor last year and why not.

At the back of my mind I've always wondered, are we sitting ducks. I mean without coming across as in anyway racist here, are we perhaps just too soft when it comes to immigration here and also are we not far too tolerant of other countries religious beliefs and especially when they are against our own governments with very dangerous individuals who should never have been given the opportunity in the first place to preech to us their disgusting views.

What pissed me off aswell about this whole vile murder was the fact that both of the suspects have been called British.

Michael Adebolajo - Whats British about that name exactly.

This is the second time foreigners who have moved to our country and carried out terrorist activitys have been referred to as British. Fucking shameful, the UK has become far too PC when even evil killers are given the PC treatment whilst the dead poor man who had been attacked was truly British through and through.

England appears to be way too easy with immigration, from my view.

It's not really about the races, as much as it is the numbers. Too many people. I'm all for immigration of all types of people, as long as there is a limit.

Same can be said for the U.S

What the man did was complety wrong and disgusting and no excuse for it, but the message he said to the camera had a lot of truth in it.

Every time something like this happens the Islams always come out and say how they condemn the actions and how it's got fuck all to do with their religion. What a load of fucking shite. Ofcourse it does.

Who started 9/11 - Us or them. Who masterminded the Glasgow Bombing and now this one. They are Islamic terrorists who preach against us, the ones who give them free housing accommodation ahead of the born and bred British.

I'm fucking sick of this PC Britain that we now live in, be tollerent of all people irrespective of religious beliefs. Oh yeah really, well how come we never had any of this bullshit prior to us getting soft on immigration.

Wednesday was a wake up call, time for this government to get tough and look after it's own first for a fucking change because like I said we're sitting ducks for this to happen again.

No, "we" are not too tolerant. A lot of immigrants would happily shovel shit for not much money just for the opportunity to live here. As with every race and religion there is bad eggs. For someone who thinks he crusades against censorship, you seem awfully willing to question other people's freedom of speech just because you don't agree with it.

What makes a person "British through and through"? I'm not defending either of the killers, but Michael Adebolajo is English. He was born here, raised here, educated here and comes from a Christian family. He is a muslim convert, who converted to a radical form of Islam, which the majority of muslims distance themselves from.

An innocent 75-year old muslim was knifed to death in Birmingham last month, by a white man, for unknown reasons. He had lived and worked in his area for over 40 years, where is the national mourning for that poor, peaceful bloke?

Like I said, I'm not defending the murderers, I don't need to say how shocking and tragic the event was, that's obvious, but everyone around us needs to show some consistency with their outpouring of grief, and if you don't, then don't complain when "others" complain of double standards.

Race and religion shouldn't be the focus. These two, above all, are murderers, and should be tried as such.

This is the first successful terrorist attack in England since 2005, 8 years, some countries don't go 8 days without multiple killings. Things are not as bad as they seem. I would easily walk through that part of London tomorrow if I had to, because that was just one rare isolated incident by two mentally unstable people.

Unfortunately faith has always preyed on the vulnerable....taking advantage of a weakened mind..sometimes when a person needs support in a time of crisis....faith seems to play a part...not always for positive reasons....this is one sad factor where faith takes a twisted role...human nature can be very cruel..to the point its very sickeneing....another problem is its passed on from one generation to the next...schools need to take such problems seriously...if it can be eliminated at an early stage...?? I very much doubt it...its been going on for hundrerds of years....Sad

The truth is despite what some people would have you believe is that we are not a multicultural society, we do not live together in perfect harmony like the song says, our cities are divided in areas according to ethnicity. Immigrants when they arrive in this country usually end up being housed in those areas so they can be among people of their own religion or nationality, therefore they don,t get the chance to truly integrate with the indigenous population, they grow resentful and bitter towards people they consider have more than them or simply have better lives, that is when the hate preachers get to work spreading their evil message.
