Britain Leaving The E.U (2)
This time the options will be straight forward.
Should we (a)Stay or (b)Leave the E.U.

I am all for us to leave E.U because of several reasons:

1) We're spending money on bailing out other countries instead of using it to sort out our problems.

2) The E.U are happy for us support them when they need us but when we need their help it's a different story.

Aha! Cheers fella.

Definitely leave the EU.

For many reasons. Of those stated above. To also get our identity back; put our own interests/needs first, and just oh so many other reasons...

Leave, only politicians, lawers and civil servants want to stay in to feather their own nests at our expense.

I'm none of the above but think Britain should stay part of the EU for many reasons.

First and foremost, we need the EU. Who would we trade with if we pulled out? All the EU nations would probably decline trading with us afterwards and they make up the majority of our trade. People can suggest trading with Brazil, India and even Japan but that still doesn't come close to the EU nations.

If, and I hope it wouldn't happen, Britain went to war, our defences has been so badly cut back we wouldn't be able to defend ourselves. We'd be fucked and I couldn't imagine many EU nations coming to our aid any time soon.

My last big reason is simple. If the U.K ends up in the shit, which is you ask me is only a matter of time, then each and everyone of us can up sticks and roam the EU. We can choose to move and settle in any other EU country no questions asked. People often spout about free country, rights and all this bollocks, but yet we're still very closed minded and set in our ways. The majority of people are still little England'ers.
We're not a global powerhouse like we once were. We a fallen kingdom virtually on it's knee's. We don't have the identity that people crave and desire, that was sold a long time ago. We're just another island of consumers, sold on greed and fame.

Embrace the freedom that the EU allows and over look the nonsense rules and regulations that are often so public. There is much more to the EU than red tape.

The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.

There are far too many people who seem to think of Britain as still being a major power,an economic powerhouse at the hub of a global empire. Its not,its a fairly insignificant island and the idea that Britains fragile economy would flourish outside of Europe is simply bizarre.Britain needs the EU far more than the Eu needs Britain. From a trade and employment point of view leaving would be a disaster how many companys like Nissan in Sunderland and Honda came here to get a foothold in the EU block?
Unfortunately the press here has too ofton been filled with nonsnse stories about 'straight bananas' etc which make for a good headline but have no basis in reality. One thing we don't need however is more federalisation, it just won't work in Europe there are too many nationalities with completely diffetrent attitudes and lifestyles to have a one size fits all community,

RE: Britain Leaving The E.U (2)
leaving the Eu wold be the biggest mistake in this countrys history. but i do welcome the referendum just hope we get the truth which is the only reason why we are in this shit is because of British banks and decisions made in westminster not brussels. do the europeans have a say on how our hospitals transport and other things are run No!! would leaving the Eu suddenly mean we would have better hospitals schools and transport NO!! is it the europeans fault we work the hardest in europe with little or nothing to show for it NO !!! is it the EU fault our Kids are thick as pig shit and Fattest in Europe No!!

christ if voters thought about this before voting then most would want the EU to have more powers not less

we pay 10billion a year and we get 8billion of that back so for 2 billion a year. saw in the paper for a person on average salary the amount we pay to the Eu from our taxes is £26 a year

would say if you look at the regeneration of inner city areas and major cities such as Liverpool and Manchester then some of it was down to EU money in fact Eu gave manchester 500 million pounds for the metrolink development do you honestly think the goverment would have stumped up for that. been researching this liverpool has had 2 billion pound in regeneration money from EU since 1994. amazing the Right wing Trash Press dont mention stuff like that its about what forigners take not what we get in return

do you honestly think if we left then the working men and women of this country would be a lot better off course not would prob be a lot worse off stuff like minimum wage and the working time directives would go meaning you would have no employment rights and would have to work more hours for less pay i mean if the average worker cant survive now that working tax credits are needed to top up wages adding to our benefit payouts.

and these bailouts to the EU are loans we will get the money back and we would have to pay them anyway as we are a key member of the IMF

in fact the scots might have the right idea get independance and then join the EU Wink

the ones to blame for the shit we are in now are not Johnny forigner it is the people we put in our parliment and there own special interest groups

The biggest problem with Europe for the people of this country is immigration, at the last estimate there are over 2 million east europeans living in this country. Despite what the politicians would have you believe they have contributed very little to the economy except to keep wages down by working for the national minimum.
