Bluebird IPTV - anyone receiving it?
In the light of BB's venture into the brave new world of IPTV broadcasting, I just wondered whether anyone here had the means of watching IPTV on Freeview?

If so, what equipment are you using?

RE: Freeview IPTV - anyone receiving it?
I live in Spain and only we have Freeview and satellite, i have the IPTV system on my Tv a couple of years ago.
I use IPTV to watch series/movies and sporting events that have been broadcast.
I have a feeling that BB in IPTV will be another failure because it makes no sense, it is the same thing that connect your PC to your Tv.Rolleyes

RE: Freeview IPTV - anyone receiving it?
Does anyone have clues as to how we might be able to watch this on our PC via say VLC, and save the stream in the process ?
In theory it's just an internet delivered video via one of the standard multicast protocols...
I've had a look at the underlying stream on that multiplex via recording the entire transport stream, but doesn't give any clues.
I guess it makes little odds as I assume it's effectively the same as the rtmp stream they give out anyway, and indeed it may just be that exact same stream (the one with OSG vs the better one which doesn't have much other than girls name in white text).

RE: Freeview IPTV - anyone receiving it?
^^^ I agree that they'll probably be the same streams, particularly as they'll be cramming four feeds into one IPTV stream for Freeview, so there's no incentive to have a higher bitrate.

The forum below is a good resource for network streams, although they do get out of date quite quickly. Once BB are up and running on Freeview you could ask if anyone could sniff out the FV streams for you.

By the way, the pages are in reverse order (most recent page is last).
