I just had a good browse through that list. It comes to no surprise the amount of people who felt the drain of Christmas and signed up on Christmas day Big Grin

I think it worked out I signed up the day after going back to work this year! Cool I didn't really start posting until a few months later mind

edit - Just looking at some of the people who signed up same time, so many with 0 posts and some never even logged back in. http://www.babeshows.co.uk/memberlist.ph...&page=1266

RE: Petition
Yes I must admit I wasn't as regular a poster as I am now when I first joined the forum and my first post was nothing spectacular neither, but taking all that into account I very much doubt I would have ignored such a worthy campaign as this petition as it comes down to how much you really want to see change or not and going by the majority they clearly don't give a flying fuck unfortunately bladewave they will do however when Ofcom decides to call time on the lot of them, so anybody reading this who hasn't done so allready we need you to back this campaign Important

RE: Petition
Serious question. Does anyone know more generalist forums where broadcasting/free speech/censorship issues could be raised? The Listener magazine? A BBC forum? Do any of the political parties have forums that nonmembers can join? To be effective there would need to a large active readership, or at least a lot of influential people.

RE: Petition
ScottishBloke - I think half the problem isn't people don't care, it is just they haven't or will not read this thread. I should imagine a lot of people aren't even aware it exists. Due to many different reasons sadly. Floating users will not think twice about this thread. Maybe we should have called it "FREE SEXXX" Then opened with "Now we have your attention"

eccles - I'm not aware of any other forums like you mention. I only really visit this one. It is a good point and I wouldn't object to getting involved in discussions so if you are aware of any other forums where this could be raised I'm happy to jump on board. Would be a good one for raising the profile.

RE: Petition
The only thing Moneyshot is this thread is listed as important all across the UK Babe Channels forum so for somebody not to even notice it they must be blind as you can't really miss it, fair enough if it was only listed on the Broadcasting Regulations Threads but it's everywhere thanks to the Admins for doing their best to push it aswell as PM's to the entire spectrum of users. I think forum users are aware of it's exsistence but it's a bit like seeing a pile of dirty dishes, you either choose to wash them or ignore them and I honestly think that this petition has largely been ignored unfortunately bladewave

Fair shout Scottishbloke, admittedly I didn't realise it was actually on every part of the board ! Oops!! But then in my defence I do normally only hit these two options View New Posts | View Today's Posts .

RE: Petition
It's still progress mind you but I still can't help thinking that this number is somewhat deflating, on average picking up about only 10 votes a week from the world wide web which is viewed by millions, all has been said and the petition is also being pushed through on the http://www,liveshow-tv,com site too so it's had it's fair bit of coverage, I still have hope however that we could maybe have a bit of a resurgence at any point as the word get's out more and more, so all is not lost yet but it's still very deflating and frustating that's it's not moving fast enough Cool

RE: Petition
I was getting down about progress but overnight it has jumped to 399. There could be 400 votes by the weekend, and 500 by Christmas might be possible.

Thanks to everyone who has voted, I would thank you personally but the petition website is anonymous.

RE: Petition
I completely agree with Scottishbloke, Eccles, and Moneyshot, all of us, and I should say many others love our babe channels, and this year 2011 has been a year to truly forget. It still saddens me that in the 21st century we're even having these discussions, but hey this is the world we currently live in and these are the knobheads AKA Ofcom that we are dealing with.
I like many of us have signed the petition, however there are 1000's more who haven't, the question is why? and I have to agree with the guys that the majority can't be F**KIN bothered!!! Now we all have are rights whether to vote or not, like Scottishbloke has said you must be blind if you can't see the petition splattered everywhere, yet no one can't be asked to sign it?
All of us need to do our bit, I don't want to suddenly turn on one evening to see my Sexy lucy Summers only to find out that Ofcom have pulled the plug on Redlight and come to that many other babe channels!! I like many of you want to see all our Babes that we've seen over the years merrily continue, expanding all the time, however in the current climate this is really difficult at this moment in time. That's why everyone needs to SIGN THIS PETITION NOWImportant The situation is getting very serious for our Babe channels and if we don't do something now we run the grave risk of losing them all together Important
