I enjoy scottish footy,its fast & frenetic & if the old firm joined the english prem now, I would expect them to fill in the 5th & 6th places,but wouldn't expect them to win the prem in the forseeable future,in fact, the lack of regular Champions league finances would probably reduce the teams from guaranteed top six to top ten or mid-table teams.

I dont think they would miss the champs league money if they were getting Sky's £30m million a season.

Champs leaue gives you about 10 mill and setanta money is only about 1.5 mill so I think they could cope i they didnt have the champs league. Id miss European games though as this only seems to be when there is any atmosphere now at Celtic park

We will never play in England though so there isnt much point in moaning about it
