Osama Bin Laden Dead

Am I the only one who's a wee bit sceptic? Especially since they "buried him at sea" without showing us the body... I suppose I'll take their word for it now and celebrate the fact that someone who actually deserved to die has died.

It's a milestone and a good piece of news, people affected by his organizations acts can get a bit of closure but we've got to remember that this guy was the figure head for a way of thinking, not an army carrying out his orders.

I've got a horrible feeling this is merely kicking the hornets nest and now every radical and crack pot has got their excuse/reason to start carrying out attacks. Uneasy times ahead.

On the upside, Hollywood has got it's final chapter to a story they've been waiting to tell. I've got a vision of a thousand screen writers booting their Mac Books up in coffee shops around the world and getting a new word pad document up, lol

Good riddance. Now to find the rest of them.

I'm guessing that they did that so that everyone can busy themselves with conspiracy theories, whilst the CIA and affiliates can carry on doing their jobs.

Even If they had brought the body back, nobody would believe it was him anyway.

Whilst Bin Laden's death perhaps closes one chapter of History, there's just no way it will affect the disposition of radicals/terrorists the world over.
They will still seek to destroy the Western ways, whether it be for beliefs, revenge, profit, power or whatever.
Seeing as arms sales keep the economies flowing - nothing will change; Too many rich people depend on conflict for their money.
The media people need wars and stuff to keep the viewers interested.

Speaking of which - I thought Gadaffi was the new Bin Laden anyway?

This is really only significant in a symbolic sense, it's a good bit of closure for a lot of Americans and will dent some terrorist resolve, but this will not suddenly bring on the down fall of Al-Qaeda or global islamic terrorism. It'll get worse before it gets better.

Has his death being confirmed?

im guessing they buried him at sea so people cant go to his grave if you think about it. they dont want a physical grave site where people can go and worship him, plus im guessing no world leader wanted him to be buried in any of their countrys!

was just gonna say this, they buried him at sea so any grave wouldnt become a shrine for him. as he does not exactly deserve one

obama was taking alot of stick and a beating in the polls! he needed something big to happen in his favour. coincidence?
if it puts obama back in the white house in front of the republicans then it's the 241 of all time!
