Surely they will go for a less obvious target where the security isn't so heavy and they may have an element of surprise on their side. I would have thought the London Olympics was one of the last things on their list.

Having fought against Al Queda and the Taliban, they are all about making a statement and they will try and find a way around the security or another way of targeting the 2012 olympics, for example the transport system. It is just a theory.
