I'm sorry to say that I do think that Elite is kind of beneath Tori.

Someone must have 'bigged-up' Elite to her\her management to swing a deal like this or that she thinks she is unknown in the UK and needs to do it for publicity.

I suspect the latter is more likely the case as she is essentially now getting free advertising on the EliteTV website (including a link to her premium subscription site) as well as some face-time 'marketing her goods' to those who don't know who she is (shame on you if you don't!) by getting her face out there in the UK.

As she is doing a video with Sophia for her site I also suspect that while in the UK she will be doing loads of other work to make it worth her while, perhaps some lads-mag interviews and photo shoots like Tera Patrick did a few years back, so I guess one loss-leader on Elite won't be a total waste of time for her I'm sure.

If Jamie had anything to do with the negotiations I would like to have him with me if I ever need to ask my bank manager for a big loan as he seems to be either a serious lucky charm or a great diplomat. Perhaps he should be sent to Libya to try and sort things out there!

I think astonv1 summed it up after the previous overhyped fiascos fanfared by Elite, such as the Alice Goodwin/Sammy P/Danica night shows; whatever Tori has done or is doing is irrelevent to what she'll be doing on Elite, you've seen her doing what she does, but what is she going to do on Elite, she's just going to be another nightshow babe showing her teeth 'n' tits, maybe get her knix off, but nothing groundbreaking; interesting maybe as a new face on the show, but hardly justifying the hyped up hysteria on this forum generated by Elite.

Previously they've had pornstars Michelle Thorne/Paige Ashley/Natalie Heck on Elite, whose day jobs are the same as Tori's, but their presence on the shows generated little more than a polite ripple of applause...

....& if pornstars behaving like nice TV presenters is your thing, try Babestation,
........but maybe pornstars Lolly Badcock/Michelle Moist/Karina Currie/Ree Petra/Leah Joshi/Dani O'Neal/Ava Blue & others are too boring, as I said Tori is an interesting newcomer & for those saying Tori is the biggest pornstar in the world, so what if she is, on Elite she's there to prove that she's the best Adult TV Show presenter in the world, that's what she's being paid for, not to suck dick....

I'll say this for Elite - they are the only UK channel by some distance who she would have agreed to make an appearance on. Proves Elite have far more influence than the others if their reach stretches Stateside. I'm sceptical about bringing a guest star in but we'll see how it goes. I always try to give a viewpoint which is constructive.

Would rather have seen Sophia Lares or Fernanda or even Alice Goodwin get an extra night show rather than Tori Black. She's very average looking. Most of Elite's current roster are more attractive.

However from a business sense I guess Elite feel it will boost their profile by being able to attract a popular pornstar so I can understand it

Imported porn stars are not the future, obstructive and intrusive spinning OSG's are... Never underestimate the allure of on-screen advertising graphics. THEY MAKE £££'s.

I've been surprised that no one has tried this in the past. With the Ofcom and BBFC restrictions on porn in this country I think there is a perception that there is no market here, but that's clearly not the case as this board proves. Trade shows like Venus in Berlin attract plenty of big name American pornstars but Erotica in London doesn't. You would think strip club chains like Spearmint Rhino would be keen to book big name performers. Do a few scenes and photoshoots for British companies. Add in a few nights on a babe channel as well and Britain could be quite a lucrative stop on a European visit.

Hope the experiment works and that others follow.
