Asian Babes - Chat & Discussion

Babestation has a golden opportunity to make AC a proper babe channel and increase revenues dramatically, but they seem content just to piss this opportunity away. A couple of great spicy shows a week (Amy/Jasmine, Amy/Kitty, Amy/Nadia, you get the idea) and the rest of the spicy shows they show little or nothing? Consistent, reliable content, anyone? Does anyone think this is going to generate new, loyal customers? Cause anyone to migrate from the other channels? There has been some good buzz with the Babestation involvement, the implementation of the pervcam, and some amazing, off-the-charts spicy shows from Amy and co. Amy has had days recently when she seemed never to get off the phone or pervcam. The Asian Babes forum has seen numbers of browsers in the double digits at times - a rarity in recent years. The formula for success is obvious - give the customers what they want (nudity) in the spicy hours, and have pervcam available during "day" hours to generate the kind of revenue that was impossible before. The spicy show is the gateway to enticing new customers to come on board. But if BS doesn't have the will to intervene to insist on standards of performance, the interest will fade away, the pervcam will be underutilized as it is now (as I write the pervcams are not functioning), and the experiment will have failed.

I'm still not sure what "extra content" Freeview gives their audience, but if they are able to get the spicy show then maybe Babestation don't feel the need to change anything. They may have been justified in knocking Sky 945 off for financial reasons, but also don't seem to treat Asian Connections as anything other than break-filling. 4am - 5:30am doesn't seem busy enough not to give us one channel for 90 minutes, although they don't double up on content as I first thought.

Maybe we have to wait for Babestation to make more cutbacks (with their presenters) before they will virtually HAVE to fill the 4 - 5:30 slot with AC!

Good point putting AC in the bigger context of BS plans for all their channels. What I hoped to convey is that it's hard to believe that BS would increase their involvement in the daily operations of AC, or sent in the pervcams, if they didn't think they could make money doing it - that would be their only motivation. But simply setting up some little cameras and then sitting back and letting AC just go on as usual would not achieve the desired results. They're going to have to fix some things. At some point, they are going to have to think about reorganizing the schedule to put spicy show in a reasonable hour when people are awake. But first they have to deal with what the content of the adult segment will be, and enforce it. I hope it goes well.

The afternoon/evening shift (in UK time) has the girls finish at 4am already in Thailand so I wonder how they'd feel about doing an old-fashioned 10-6 stint so spicy show finishes at midnight? Our morning viewing suits Bangkoks time difference for the girls (10am - 7pm) so AC's bosses may opt to keep what they already have.

The pervcam(s) are web-orientated, and the stream was down most of today again, so yes, alot of work needs to be done. To show that Asian Connections isn't a tiny niche in an ever shrinking babe channel market. I suspect that most people on this part of the forums prefer the teasy approach of the Asian girls to the trashy in-your-face show that British girls put on, and this may be something that has to be admired and used in a better way.

I absolutely agree with you on all points, and in fact I have advocated on this forum many times the idea of extending the afternoon shift to midnight UK time and thus spicy from 10-12, then not starting the all-daytime second shift until 6 AM London time. That would mean (currently) the afternoon shift being 9 PM- 6 AM Bangkok time and the daytime shift noon to 9 PM. I also absolutely prefer the tease show to the "trashy in-your-face" British shows, and as you say these are to be admired and preserved - but they still need to deliver the goods with adult content. As you know, there are plenty of examples of great spicy shows to indicate what is needed on a daily basis.

It's Sod's Law that just when AC starts producing some of the most brazen dayshows in the whole of the 900s, they lose their channel and get treated as filler and pulled off air at random.

I just want to be able to set my Sky to record the channel from 04:00 - 22:00 so that I can fast forward at my leisure, like I used to, knowing that I have the whole day's show without interruptions.

Keep the tease element and camera flirting ,but give us the big reveal climax at the end at the very least .
I don't understand BS's policy with AC .
How do they expect the girls to get calls , when they are taken off-air on a whim without any notice ?If you are a potential caller , dare you risk losing visual contact half-way through your expensive call ?

BS have started messing with the am show around 11am now .

0.00 (mid-night) - 5.30 proper nightshow , with appropriate performers (Amy can pick them).
5.30am -1.00 pm am/dayshow .
Forfeit the afternoon show .

I wonder if you've noticed that when the fat boss is in the studio, you can bet on him dumbing down/censoring the spicy show. Amy did a nice show and managed a number of nice flashes, but there was no chance of doing one of the wild, uninhibited and very enjoyable shows of the last couple of weeks. BS might start by getting him out of the way.
