RE: Darts
Have to say Phil looked a bit stunned at what was happening.
An average of over 101 and he couldn't do anything to stop it.
Impressive darts by van Gerwen.

RE: Darts
From 6-3 down Van Gerwen just played great darts, it makes it interesting going into the World Championships given the run Taylor had been on prior to this event

RE: Darts
Impressed with van Gerwen, he seemed to do a similar thing in one of his earlier rounds, suddenly upped a gear and steamed past his opponent.

RE: Darts
Dunno if anyone saw Sports Life Stories on ITV4 last night (repeated later in the week). It was a profile on Eric Bristow. Probably nothing new, but a nice retrospective. It made me feel that he and Phil Taylor are a bit like Steve Davis & Stephen Hendry. Taylor & Hendry might be "better" and win more records etc, but they're not as likeable.

Whenever we're playing darts in the pub my mate will always go on and on about his Dartitis...

He just can't let it go.

I don't think I'd even heard of Dartitis before Sad I kept thinking he looked like a chubbier Jasper Carrott.

It only occurred to me this evening that Davis is in Bristow's place in the Jungle this year.

RE: Darts
Yep he has - suprised me but nonetheless pleased, funny how he didnt ask him to sign the board - never does when he loses! I'd like to see Van Gerwen win it but reckon Lewis probably will.
