RE: Darts
Trina Gulliver "MBE" had to "dig deep" & other clichés to get through this afternoon. I'm quite bemused by the insistence on quoting her MBE, it reminds me of the god-awful Bonnie Greer doing the same shit (though thankfully not playing darts - or not yet).

Durrant and Mitchell still in it.

Fallon Sherrock knocked out though.

Winstanley beat Dobro, and meets rank outsider Suzuki in the final.

Scott "also chasing his 3rd world title" Waites is through to the semis.

RE: Darts
With some sort of inevitability, Suzuki stuffed Winstanley to win her 1st world title, 3-0.

RE: Darts
Waites stuffed Unterbuchner 6-1. Durrant won 6-3. He was pushed hard, but did raise his game, and his 123 finish was pretty good.

Who will be the 3-time champ tomorrow? Durrant probably big favourite.

RE: Darts
Waites managed to lead 3-2, but Durrant came through 7-3. Waites had the chances, but didn't take them, and Durrant upped his game, so credit to the miserable sod for his win. He amusingly credited Waites as a Lakeside legend in his speech, but given both men are apparently off to the PDC Q-School, time will tell who steps up for 2020.

RE: Darts
8 players are going to try and win tour cards in the PDC they are Glen Durrant,Scott Waites,Mark McGeeney,Jim Williams,Daniel Day,Kyle Mckinstry,Conan Whitehead and Dean Reynolds.

No wonder why BDO is always shit because once they get good players they join the PDC but the PDC is where the money is and it is a chance to be tested and will be interesting to see who gets tour cards out of these 8 players and it's a good chance for someone else in the BDO if any of these 8 are successful.

Also congrats to Glen Durrant for winning 3 world titles it might be in a weaker organization but it is still a hard thing to do to win 3 world titles especially winning 3 in a row only Eric Bristow has done it in the BDO and Phil Taylor in the PDC.

The thing is the BDO players are - largely - very good darts players. But the organisation itself is run poorly. Stuck in the past, run on the cheap, and lacking in any fresh ideas. And that, subsequently, reflects badly on the players.

I fully expect several of the Q-School attendees to get their PDC tour cards. Durrant, Williams, Waites, Whitehead, & McKinstry all should, relatively comfortably. I've never been sold on McGeeney, but he has an outside chance.

If the whole LOT qualify though, God knows what next year's Lakeside will look like. Richard Veenstra winning, maybe? Or Mandigers.
