Wasn't quite as good as it might have been, but fun all the same. Waites is only a few months older than me, which is a bit depressing. But he seems happy enough, so fair play to him Smile

BBC will screen the new PDC tournament, Champion League of Darts from 24/25th September in Cardiff which will have the top 8 players in the PDC Order of Merit in it. It will be a round robin tournament with the top 2 in 2 groups of 4 making the Semi Finals. This decision means the BBC will cease covering the BDO World Championship.

BT Sport who currently share the BDO World Championship with BBC will likely take over the televising of it.

For those who saw the Snooker Mavericks doc on ITV4 a month back, there was one on Darts this week, which you might catch a repeat of (or it might be on ITVplayer if you're at all technical). If not, apart from some love for Jocky Wilson, it was mostly about how good Eric Bristow was, and how amazing Barry "yawn" Hearn was & is.
