RE: Darts
Watched some of the World Championship last night on Sky. Love watching darts matches but I wish the crowd would learn some new songs. Already fed up with "Stand up if you love the darts" and "Boring, boring tables..." Boring, boring songs! Give it a rest...lets just enjoy the games instead.

Amazed that John Part is still kicking around. ISTR the first BDO tournament I followed was at the start of 1995, so it'll be a 20th anniversary in a few weeks. Part won that in '94, trouncing Bobby "ooh me back" George.

Did manage to catch up with these, both very good. I noticed the first one managed to fit its story in without having to talk to Barry Hearn laugh The latter on Bristow was a nice window on a telly style you don't get any more.

Don't understand why Steven Bunting beating James Wade in World Champs was such a shock to everyone

^^^^^^^^
I agree Bunting is a class player. I thought Wade reaction to it all was totally classless. Basically said he lost to an inferior player.

Saw Lewis 9 darter live. First time ever seen a live 9 darter. Missed plenty in the past through making a cup of tea, or phone ringing at an inopportune moment plenty of times though. Very anti climatic considering the fact he still lost.

Piece of cake for MVG and Gary Anderson tonight. Tomorrow night's games could be interesting. Vincent van der Voort is having a fantastic tournament and could give Taylor a fight. Bunting vs Barneveld could be sensational. I'm going for Bunting.

Great match between Bunting and Barney, doubles just let Bunting down at the end.

For the love of Jehovah I hope Anderson whips Taylor. I'm chuffed for Ando- great performance against MVG.
