RE: Darts
I only dip in and out with darts but got to say that tonight's Taylor/Newton and van Gerwen/van Barneveld matches have been great entertainment for a Saturday night in with some beers. Already looking forward to tomorrows play!

RE: Darts
The final leg of that Van Gerwen v Van Barneveld match summed up the quality of the whole contest.
Van Gerwen left himself 16 and Barney 42 after 9 darts each.
Phenomenal play and great resolve from Van Gerwen to recover from 9-7 down to win 10-9.

RE: Darts
The big numbers around the edge of the board look quite tacky. But I suppose they always need to do something different.

God I hope Anderson destroys Phat Phil. I loathe Taylor with a burning passion.

RE: Darts
Anderson couldn't do it but James Wade did 11-9 in semi, with Taylor moaning about the crowd in latter stages of match.

King took out Van Gerven by same score in other semi .

RE: Darts
It was interesting to see Mervyn King wearing earplugs. Has he been having trouble with crowd noise? Or maybe he was just trying to be in the zone.

RE: Darts
I suspect it was to block out crowd noise.
He has taken so much crowd abuse in tournaments gone by he could be forgiven for not wanting to listen to it.
The crowd were booing his every match dart.
