This was a really good follow up to what was one of my favourite films of the last few years. The twists, the comedy, the performances, the mystery, all really well put together. The reveal speech had me in bits too, so funny. Hard to say if it's better than Knives Out. Will need a few re-watches to determine for sure.

8.5/10

We watched this last night and totally agree. The first film might just shade it for me but I just prefer to see both as very enjoyable entries in a hopefully continuing franchise. Daniel Craig already seems like he's played Blanc for many years lol, and Janelle Monáe was stunning btw

Apparently Rian Johnson originally didn't want the biggest twist but I couldn't imagine the film without it. I just hope these films keep Johnson away from Star Wars lol

^ Have re-watched it several times now and love it, such an enjoyable film, even with the twists and reveals already known. But think the first is just slightly better. I think it's the personal relationships between the characters in Knives Out that gives it the edge for me .... and Ana de Armas Tongue

Hopefully lots more installments to come, with equally brilliant and enjoyable ensemble casts Smile

The one with Ryan Gosling? Thats a very good movie in my opinion. I like the slow-paced approach, the story, the cinematography, the acting.

The Banshees of Inisherin. Sad and funny in equal measure and deserving of all the plaudits it's getting. Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, and Kerry Condon are all fantastic but Barry Keoghan drops an all-time performance that almost makes me think he's just an odd little fuck and isn't even acting anymore.
