RE: Last film you watched
watched the new kingsman film a\t the pictures last night, though it a solid 7/10
it was very different to the first 2 kingsman films as set in WW1 so not as much humour, the best bit was the fight with Rasputin , the middle bit in the trenches was where it went a little flat but it did a a fun all action final battle on top of a mountain,

currently walking on the Sunny side of the street

Trial of the Chicago 7 (Netflix)

Good movie.

Very Aaron Sorkin -- so if you liked A Few Good Men, the West Wing or Molly's Game, then you'll probably like this.

Ghostbusters Afterlife - 8.5/10.

So well done, it was both something new, but familiar. Loved it. Paul Rudd, fun as usual, but the young cast were excellent.
I'm not ashamed to say that I welled up a little at the end, a lovely tribute, hit me right in the feels.

I am currently building Lego 1989 Batmobile (Lego Geek, and overall geek laugh) so the film choice over past 3/4 days and nights have been Batman movies or movies with Batman in them: Batman 1989, Batman Returns and so on and so on and Zack Snyders Justice League - anyway Last watched

Batman Begins - 2005

Origin story for the caped crusader and start of a trilogy, Christian Bale as Batman (up there with Micheal Keaton's version for me)

Think we all know about this film so I won't go into details

9/10

No time to die - 5/10.

I am somewhat conflicted about this movie after watching it in bits and pieces due to poor concentration levels.

The action scenes in themselves were dynamic and fun to watch.
The film did manage to tug at the heart strings in places too.
And there were no poor performances from the main characters with what they were given.

However........
This film for me tried to bite off more than it could chew.
It was an attempt to tie up a load of loose ends in a plot that was careless at best and shambolically desperate at worst.
The biggest tragedy of this film was that it looked like legacy hunting on the part of Daniel Craig which is a shame as up to this point he had done very well as Bond.
But it was legacy hunting that proved somewhat self defeating in my view.

^^^ the blames with the loose ends with the Quantum of Solace, they basically reckoned at lot of stuff especially the stuff to do Spectre and with this being the last and it’s being rebooted that’s what you get.

Shang-Chi and The Legend Of The Ten Rings.

I actually enjoyed this more than I thought I would Smile, I got the movie on 4k as a Christmas present but I only just watched it as it didn't seem like something I'd be interested in partly because I'd never heard of this character and didn't know much about the movie overall, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The choreographed fight scenes were really good, the action was great in places and the story was a good one within the Marvel universe. The acting was good, the special effects were good and there's some good humour in it too. I'm looking forward to Shang-Chi 2 when it's released Smile. 8.5/10.
