No Time To Die

Enjoyed it, big improvement on Spectre which was a complete bore fest, good send off for Daniel Craig, just needed more Paloma Tongue

7.5/10

Ghostbusters Afterlife 9/10

Wow loved it !! totally destroys the memory of the 2016 woke remake very 80s movie vibe mixing ghostbusters with a goonies vibe and even a little nod to gremlins

the ending got me a excellent tribute to Harold Ramis

Spider-Man: No Way Home

Hmmm… Funny one.

I was a little underwhelmed, but I’m not sure why. Good action, good acting, and — in that inimitable Marvel way — manages to rope in a lot of characters without making them feel like gratuitous cameos. There is no material reason why I shouldn’t think this was a great movie. But I don’t.

I guess I’m a little fed up of big franchises trading on their past instead of moving forward. We’ve seen it with Star Wars, Bond, and Ghostbusters, and now … spider-man. Too much nostalgia and fan service.

And I hate pointing out plot holes, cos I don’t think they really matter in comic book blockbusters. But there is no escaping the fact that an epic Spider-man adventure is needed in the second half to fix all the mistakes made by a selfish, whiny and moronic Peter Parker in the first half.

C’mon Disney. You took a victory lap with Endgame, which traded on the history of the MCU. Now you’ve taken a victory lap with Spider-man. Get some new writers, find some new ideas, and look ahead, not behind you.

King Arthur: Legend of the sword - 2017

Guy Ritchie version of King Arthur and eventually his Knights of the round table, I think this is 3rd time of watching it (not in a rowlaugh) just a film I find I can put on or if it is on and enjoy Smile

I like it, typical Guy Ritchie swagger, it has humor, action (kind of) and decent music (couple of tunes I use for work-outs)

A good and fun take on the King Arthur Story
