I watched this last night what a load of crap faithful to the game but no where near as entertaining... The fact that the milla jovovich films are better says it all really laugh

The King's Man

The 3rd film in The Kingsman franchise is a really good prequel set around WWI that shows how The Kingsman agency came into existence

Very good action & special effects and very good performances from the cast

8/10

The Matrix Regurgitations.

Lazy, repetitive bollocks. Keanu Reeves plays himself, Carrie Ann Moss obviously only signed up for the money, we get a plastic Morpheus because Laurence Fishburne obviously had more sense than to get involved (or they couldn't afford him) and an assorted cast of newbies who look like refugees from the local Art College.

I gave up before half-time. 2/10

Phantom (2013).

I'd never heard of this movie before but I spotted it while mooching around Prime TV and thought I'd give it a shot.

It's VERY loosely based on the sinking of a Soviet Golf II Class Ballistic Missile Submarine in 1968 and the conspiracy theories surrounding exactly what happened.

Ed Harris plays an ageing, Sub Commander suffering from poor health who is "given" back command of his old Boat for its final mission which turns out to be a test run for some new top secret kit installed by David Duchovny and his Spetsnaz cronies.

It all goes a bit Hunt For Red October and the sub ends up sinking with all hands except the Executive Officer who is ordered to make a risky exit to try and get help.

The ending is a bit silly but overall it's not a bad way to waste 98 minutes if you like a spot of Cold War Submarine shenanigans.

7/10.
