No Time to Die

I agree with Rammy and Gazcraw … it is one of the better recent Bonds.

Good story. Decent villain. No unintentional comedy. Some really good set pieces, stunts and action scenes — especially in the first half.

It’s a bit long and ‘talky’ through the middle, but it didn’t FEEL long, because the plot keeps skipping along at a brisk pace.

All of that said, I’ll be pleased to see the end of Craig-era Bond and I look forward to the next. I thought he was great as Bond, but all of these latest ones have left me a little cold.

At the risk of sounding like a reactionary dinosaur, I always thought a Bond movie should be — above all else — fun to watch. Bond shouldn’t have an ‘arc’. We shouldn’t have to care that much about his personal life or how he feels about stuff. You should be able to come home half-drunk from the pub and step into any Bond movie half-way through and still enjoy it for what it is.

You can’t really do that with the Craig movies, because they all take themselves way too seriously. Sure, they avoided the cartoonish missteps of Moonraker and Die Another Day. But they’re trying so hard to out-Bourne the Bourne movies that they don’t feel like Bond anymore.

Anyway, that’s my grumpy old man rant done. It’s a good film. Go see it.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage

Not bad, Interesting post credit scene that will change the direction of the MCU regarding the Sony owned characters.

^^ agree with your sentiments, it's a great Bond movie.

Probably the only final Bond movie that gives a proper send off for the actor (unless Craig does a Never Say Never Again lol). I wasn't a fan of the casting of Craig initially but he's won me over with each movie. I don't mind the personal expansion, the purely Boy's Own Bond of old wouldn't have washed in the 00s and 10s, and would've probably ended the series long ago. He's still Bond but we know more where he coming from in each movie.

In the end, a great decision to delay the release to the actual movie theatres. The action set peices deserve the big screen.

Lethal Weapon 2 (1989)

Probably my favourite of the Lethal Weapon series. Bickering buddy cops Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are back to take on a ruthless South African drugs cartel. The action sequences are more hard-hitting, the jokes have funnier punchlines and some loose ends left from the first film are resolved to a satisfying conclusion. Good support cast of Joe Pesci, Derrick O' Connor, Joss Ackland and Patsy Kensit, plus a rocking theme song from George Harrison, help to produce most of the elements you'd find in an ultraviolent but very exciting action sequel. 8/10

Licence To Kill

One of my fav Bond film and was very under rated at the time for not only being the first 15 rated Bond but for being far darker and gritty. Timothy Dalton really shined in this movie it’s a real shame he never did more due to the Bond rights dragging on so he decided to move. The fact made the villain realistic a drug dealer made it more believable and real. Also loved the intro to the movie and great sound track by Grady’s Knight.

No One Lives (2013)
What a great movie. Good acting, interesting story with a huge twist, nice kills. Good experience overall.
I would rate an 8.5 out of 10.

Black Widow

I thought the film was average. Great action and cinematography and humour was good. But it just felt boring and lacked the usually Marvel punch. The twist with Taskmaster was ridiculous, all I’ll say is the body shape. The villain wasn’t great and the bad accent. The end credit scene was interesting. They should have made the Black Widow film years ago especially after the Winter Soldier movie.

Black Widow

Disney Plus

I lost interest after about 20 mins, kept it going too see if it would grab my interest, but never did so just left it going in the background, as mentioned by Kal-El it lacked the Marvel punch.
