Joker.
This was the film i was most looking forward too in 2019 and it was from an acting stand point incredible! pheonix deserves an oscar nomination without a shadow of a doubt, there is one point during the film he is reading his mother medical history and he starts laughing but really he is crying it was so good i felt his pain and i got a little lump in my throat Sad all that crap about it being a dangerous film because its gonna make depressed white dude's kill people is a load of shit what this film does is open the lid on how poorly mental illness is handled around the world, the line he write in his book that says "The worst part of having a mental illness is people expect you to behave as if you don't" which is so true,
Overall this film is amazing
10/10

Speaking of Joker there’s a very funny scene at children’s hospital ward and another at his own apartment towards the end of the film Bounce

Terminator: Dark Fate

The 6th Film in the Terminator franchise which is a direct sequel to T2: Judgement Day and is set 21/22 years after T2 and completely ignores the 3 Terminator films that came out after T2

Linda Hamilton is back as Sarah Connor for the first time since T2 and she's an
absolute badass like she was in T2. Arnold Schwarzenegger is on fine form too & is very funny as well as being a badass when required.

The standout performances though for me are from
Mackenzie Davies as Grace and Natalia Reyes as Dani Ramos who are both excellent & will be the stars of the franchise going forward (plans for at least another 2 films)

Special effects are amazing & the action sequences are fantastic. It needs to be seen on the biggest screen possible in your area.

I'd rank it 3rd out of the 6 Terminator films with T2 1st & The Terminator 2nd

9/10

Gemini Man

Will Smith plays a assassin that decides to call it day but former mission pulls him back into action and question his actions it’s then his faced against a younger version of himself. All the movie doesn’t do anything new or original I enjoyed not only some great actions but the CGI young Will Smith looked amazing no shock it was done by Weta Digital who also did both Lord of The Ring Trilogies and how they messed up Justice League I will never know. The fact the younger Will Smith is CGI and not mapped a younger face on Will Smith is amazing. There are a couple dumb moments of action but not enough to ruin the movie. It’s not gonna win awards for best or original movie if the year but I came out entertained so it did it’s job.

Terminator

The film that started it all and a classic movie, with a mixture of action and horror. The cinematography of this movie was fantastic but not only that but the casting of this movie was perfect, as you can see I love this movie I recommend watching the making of the special effects and music the the fact it was done on a small budget and the movie still holds up to this. My Blu Ray steel book of the movie below.

Note for fellow old-timers : not to be confused with the 1970s American TV series about a secret agent guy who became invisible when he pressed a button on his digital watch.

Nor "The Omega Man" which was a fairly-queasy-to-watch-now 1970s film with Charlton Heston, coincidentally remade starring Will Smith and titled "I am Legend" (which was the title of the original novel upon which both films are based).

Doctor Sleep.

Good parts of the movie: Main villains acting performance (Rebecca Ferguson).
Bad parts of the movie:There was maybe more steam sucking than talking in this movie. Soundtrack was 80% heart beat sound. Good guys were maybe too overpowered compared to bad guys.

Joker 7/10 - superb performance from Pheonix but the film did not quite live up to expectations.
