I watched and very much enjoyed Godzilla 2 on Friday.
Also watched the new Hellboy movie yesterday, which is actually quite fun and deserved far kinder reviews.

Venom(Sky Superhero channel) 2018. Tom Hardy played the eponymous anti-hero Eddie Brock once a journalist and ready to marry his sweetheart Annie and then snooping on her computer one night caused him to lose her, his job and his apartment. It also didn't help having a go at a powerful industrialist played by Riz Ahmed, a Brit and surprise, surprise the villain. Anyway he investigates mysterious deaths caused by alien Symbiote which were brought back from space and given access by a worried scientist Dr Skirth. He breaks into the laboratory and chaos ensues as one of the test subjects chosen to take the Symbiote is a friend of his, who passes it to him giving him super strength, speed and hunger! It is nothing like the original story where Brock is jealous of Peter Parker at the Daily Bugle who is of course Spider-Man and is fired by editor J Jonah Jamieson.

Hardy is very good but apart from the special effects and stunts the story lacked something -and how would Brock cope with this intruder? Perhaps it might have been better if Spider-Man were also in this. At the end was a short clip,of the Spiderverse thing and then Brock is seen visiting a mad man in a cage, this turns out to be Carnage, or at least the man that would become another villain and enemy of Spider-Man.

Point Blank

After seeing this movie Frank Grillo and Anthony Mackie should stick to the Marvel films.

John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum - 8/10.

I love these films, switch your brain off and enjoy. You learn a bit more about John's backstory, find out more about how the John Wick world works too, all in all, well worth watching if you enjoyed the others, the scenes with the attack dogs were cool. It's sets up number four too, interesting. Prepare for war.

Avengers: Endgame - 9/10.

''I am Iron Man''. Really good film, it was a bit busy at times, but it all worked. As usual, some great lines, some happy stuff, some not so happy stuff, Thor eating far too many carbs...chunky. lol. I liked that Nebula was more involved, but still not enough imo. The next Guardians film should be a laugh, especially if their passenger sticks around.

The Lion King (2019) 3/10 - this might have done good box office but its one of the worst films i have seen this year, even the children i took to see it were bored.

Finally got around to watching Aquaman the other night.

I really wish I hadn't bothered.

Only 3 things in life are certain. Death, Taxes and lesbians will never look how they do in porn movies.
