A really good action film with some good twists and turns, which still has some of the relentless pace of the 3 previous Bourne films.
Matt Damon is as excellent as ever in these films, still trying to put all the pieces together about his past and trying to stay one step ahead of the pursuing authorities.
This time the movie leans a lot towards cyber intelligence but it's still a Bourne movie through and through. The opening 30 minutes is face paced with the chase scenes through the streets of Athens, whilst Bourne is trying to evade capture, is excellent. The addition of Alicia Vikander and Tommy Lee Jones are great and they all have good roles to play. Julia Stiles is back as Nicky.
The reviews that I've read were divided about this movie but I, as a fan of The Bourne movies, really enjoyed this one. It is 9 years after The Bourne Ultimatum and Paul Greengrass (Director of The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum) is back as director.
Worth a look 8.5/10

Spider-man into the spider-verse (2018)
After reading all the praise this film got i thought i was gonna be watching a master piece but in my opinion it was a film that never seems to end at one point i felt like it had been on for hours but to my surprise it had only be on 55 minutes, less than half way through the film... i really did not enjoy it and was happy when it ended.
3/10

Venom (2018)
A film i wasn't looking forward too also a film that really could have been a 15 or 18 age rating but sony bottled it...
It really is quite a funny film with good action it is basically the tom hardy show from start to finish which isnt a bad thing, some of the cgi is a bit dodgy but overall i enjoyed it a lot more than i thought i would.

Period. End of Sentence.

Not exactly a film but a documentary short (26 mins) on Netflix. Decided to watch it having seen that it won the Oscar in that category last night. What starts with the subject of menstruation develops into a story of independence brought about by free market entrepreneurship, there is a sense of The American Dream about it except that it is based in rural India. I found in a very short space of time completely endeared towards these woman and wanting them to succeed.

Good for under half an hour

If i could find a girl that had the looks of Gal Gadot, breasts of Sophie Mudd with Demi Rose's ass, the personality of Jessica Ennis, the grace of Kendall Jenner on the red carpet and then behind closed doors the raw sexual energy of Nicole Snow i'd know i was dead and gone to heaven, so i'll just take Demi Rose's ass and Nicole's sexual energy

Star Wars The Last Jedi (2017)
What the hell! Talk about taking something and just fucking shit out of it
After a good start to the new trilogy with force awakens leaving us with what could have been a great and interesting sequels Rian Johnson decides to just shut that shit down and do things that make no sense just so the seeds are planted for his own side trilogy... so what you have here is a film that is both boring and stupid and leaves nowhere to go in the next film, jj abrams is just gonna have to pretend that the last jedi was a dream (or nightmare) in episode 9.
Overall i've have never been so disappointed watching a star wars film

Alpha Dog 8/10

Great movie based on a true story, with a star studded cast including Bruce Willis, Harry Dean Stanton, Justin Timberlake, Sharon Stone and Anton Yelchin, and with the added bonus of Amber Heard, Olivia Wilde and Amanda Seyfried all having nude scenes Wink

'Mosquito Squadron' (1969) - 3/10

Low budget war yarn about Mosquito squadrons charged with destroying Nazi rocket testing sites. It's a production with cardboard cut-out characters and dialogue to match. Obviously inspired by such films as '633 Squadron'.
