Ghost Stories (2018) 4/10 - i love a good supernatural movie and after reading the reviews i was really looking forward to this but it turned out to be a real disappointment. Apart from a couple of jumps there is nothing remotely scary in the whole movie and the ending is a total copout.

Vacation (2015)

A lot better than I expected considering some of the reviews I have read.
Not a sophisticated comedy , but still some very funny, laugh out loud moments.

8/10

Aquaman 7.5/10 - very good, one of the best entries in the dc universe but that is not saying much.

Pacific Rim Uprising (2018)
Been waiting ages for this to come on sky as i enjoyed the first one even if it did have some bad acting... but its giant robots vs giant monsters and who doesnt love that Smile and this one is no different monsters and robots a aplenty
The acting is a lot better in this one, i really like john boyega i think he is a great actor, the best way to discribe this film would be the best power rangers movie that isnt a power rangers movie
7/10

I miss Amber Coen

Going into to this without Mel Gibson as 'Max', I wasn't sure how it would turn out to be anything near as good as the three previous films, but the introduction of Tom Hardy as 'The new Max' is brilliant. He is a bit of a strange character in this version but it's a proper Mad Max movie through and through. The action is pretty relentless at times with the chase scenes involving the War Rigs across the dystopian landscape, there's a huge improvement on the effects and the introduction of Charlize Theron as 'Furiosa' is good and the movie, as a whole, is a faced paced action movie.
It does feel almost like a version of a cross between Road Warrior and Thunderdome but also with it's own fingerprint on this movie. I was thoroughly entertained and would recommend anyone that hasn't seen it to give it a go. 8.5/10.

The Rider(2018)

A Chloe Zhao film that looks at American machismo in a sensitive manner as rodeo cowboy Brady Jandreau tries to buck his love for the profession after suffering a devastating injury.Brilliantly written and acted with tremendous landscape shots.

The Meg - 7/10. Could have been very cheesy, but it was actually pretty good.

'The Shape of Water' - A pretty moving and dark yet tender fantasy that looks sublime. I pretty much loved it. 8.5/10
