Last film you watched

Yellow Canary (1943) Anna Neagle plays a supposed Nazi sympathiser who is exiled to Canada, and who is tracked by a British spy(Richard Greene). Directed by Neagle's soon to be husband Herbert Wilcox, this is a rather dully scripted espionage pic, with the odd humorous line that doesn't work, though the performances and cinematography are fine. Also starring Albert Levien, Nova Pilbeam,Lucie Mannhiem, Margaret Rutherford & George Thorpe. 5.5/10

Bullitt (1968)

Gritty crime thiller, with Steve McQueen as a San Francisco detective hunting down a Mafia kingpin, that killed a witness in his protection. Also, features a great car chase, which I'm sure you all know about

Doctor Strange 9/10.

Very enjoyable, old 'Cumberbund' (lol) was very good, the special effects were excellent and the story was decent.
I'm looking forward to seeing the character in more Marvel movies. His interaction with Thor in the end credit scene was amusing.

Decent watch (if a little Unnerving) & you got to ask yourself the question ...Where the f#@k did the writer of this movie come up with the idea of this film (Disturbing) lol.

The Constant Gardener(2005) - A UK diplomat in Kenya(Ralph Fiennes) investigates his wife's (Rachel Weisz) murder as he believes there is a cover up. Based on a John Le Carre novel this an imaginatively directed and filmed movie(very occasionally the cinematography is over tricky) with a probing intelligent script. At the heart of it, however is the relationship between Fiennes and Weisz superbly acted, Weisz won an Oscar, but Fiennes is as good, and there are good supporting turns from Bill Nighy, Robert McCabe, Pete Postlethwaite and Danny Huston. Also starring Hubert Kounde,Donald Sumpter,Gerard McSorley and Anneke Kim Sarnau. 7.5/10

Castle of the Living Dead(1964)

An Italian horror from Luciano Ricci and Lorenzo Sabatini about a count with nefarious intentions,who invites an unsuspecting circus troupe to his castle.Christopher Lee is watchable as usual and so is Donald Sutherland in his first speaking role.The film is nicely shot with shadowy black and white photograhy,the gothic paraphernalia and strange statues do lend a certain quality but the story is slow and vaguely developed despite the drama becoming more focused towards the end.Overall without Christopher Lee and future Witchfinder General director Michael Reeves on the crew,it would be forgettable.

Kong: Skull Island

A very good film and a good reboot which instead of copying previous films told the story in a new way that actually works.
The cast was fantastic with Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson, John Goodman, John C. Reilly who was bloody funny in the movie and Corey Hawkins who is currently the lead actor in 24: Legacy. The basic story a group of people go to a mysterious Island and get more then they bargained for and not just Kong which there is a twist with him. The special effects were fantastic and the highlight of the film along with the sound. Tony Kebbell also starred in the film and motion captured Kong, it is gory in places and if like me you don't like giant insects and giant lizards then your gonna be in for a treat. Stay behind for the after the credits you'll get a certain set up for another well known franchise.

As much as I would like to gas on about this movie I'd only end up giving away so many spoilers,What I will say is...Wow!!!! 2 odd hours just flew by.

9.5/10 for me a must see!

A Walk Among The Tombstones(2014) Set in 1999, Liam Neeson stars as a private eye tasked with finding out who killed the wife of a drug overlord (Dan Stevens) even though the ransom was paid. Nothing stunningly original but this is a decent neo noir mystery with credible performances from Leeson (a character with issues in his past) and Stevens, good support from Brian 'Astro' Bradley as Leeson's sidekick and David Harbour & Adam David Thompson are suitably grim as the villains. A couple of good shootouts too, and a pretty decent script. Also starring Boyd Holbrook & Sebastian Roche. 6.5/10
