It didn't seem to get favourable user reviews on imdb but I really enjoyed it.

Yeah, I noticed that. I normally only give films over 7 a try (being the film snob I am!), but I may still give this one a go, from what you've said.

Its really well acted but I love classics like this over most modern crime thrillers.
