Blow Out (1981) 8/10 - Brian De Palma's superb thriller starring John Travolta and Nancy Allen. Vastly underrated on its initial release its now become a cult classic and features one of Travolta's best performances.

Blind Spot(1958)

A wonderfully shot crime drama. An officer in the US army, who was blinded during the second world war is framed for smuggling diamonds. He sets out to prove his innocence and find the people that set him up.Brilliantly directed by Peter Maxwell and starring Robert McKenzie and Delphie Lawrence.Look out for a young Michael Caine who also puts in a good showing.

Assault on Precinct 13(1976)

John Carpenter's cult classic was written in 8 days and shot in 20,the result is an amazing siege thriller that proudly wears its influences on its sleeve,it combines Rio Bravo and Night Of The Living Dead in atmosphere with moments of shocking violence, including the savage killing of an innocent, little girl(Kim Richards)as she eats an ice cream.Carpenter said in an interview conducted in 2008("I don't think I'd do it again,").Remade in 2005 quite well but nowhere near as good as the low budget, oppressively tense original.

8.5/10

The Eichmann Show(2015) A film showing a producer,Milton Fruchtmann, played by Martin Freeman and a film maker Leo Hurwitz, played by Anthony LaPaglia as the leaders of the team filming the trial in Israel in 1961 of Nazi Adolf Eichmann. An interesting, sometimes moving piece covering well the difficulties putting it together and the differences of viewpoint of the producer & film maker took on the purpose of the documentary. Also starring Rebecca Front, Andy Nyman,Zora Bishop & Nicholas Woodeson 7/10

Battle Of The Damned(2013)

A soldier leads a few survivors against an army of mutants in the aftermath of a global viral outbreak.Dolph Lundgren stars with a cast of mostly unknown(to me)actors. Some nicely shot action scenes are scattered about but,the clichéd plot and script are too much of a hindrance for this to be anything more than your average, straight to DVD fare.

Spy Extended Cut, quite enjoyed it all tho I think Paul Feig's films are a little too crude. Jason Statham stole the show he was piss funny lol 7/10.

God's Of Egypt

A cross between Prince of persia & You rock my world (Michael Jackson Song/Music vid)
To be fair it was not bad as i first thought after my initial 'WTF am I watching' in other words it's a grower not a shower!
Decent bit 'o' fluff could have been better.
