Orphan(2009)- couple adopt a child from hell, implausabily plotted horror film, decent performances including a strong central one from Isabelle Fuhrman, rather cliched ending 5/10

Die Hard, the original and the best in the series Bruce Willis at his best and the late great Alan Rickman(R.I.P) as one of if not the best movie villain so badly wanna give it a 10 but, 9.8/10.

Quigley Down Under

Tom Selleck western that is totally underatted in my book.It also has the late, great Alan Rickman who put in another fantastic, villainous performance.

Jurassic park II- 1997, directed by Steven Spielberg, with (principal actors) Jeff Goldblum, Julianne Moore, Vince Vaughn, Richard Schiff, Arliss Howard

6/10
The first part of the movie was good, i'd say a decent sequel of the first Jurassic Park . but the second part was awful, IMO...the T-rex in the city? Big Grin come on....

year after year after year, I keep reading that the shows were better "in the past"... maybe they were never that great (except in the pioneering era)?

Sweeney Todd (2007)- a few problems with this, the songs aren't very good and seem to have the same tune,Depp & Bonham-Carter are wearing pale make-up again in a Tim Burton film, and Sacha Baron Cohen is in it. However the performances are fine(including Alan Rickman) and cinematography is good 5/10

Spider(2002)- directed by David Cronenberg starring Ralph Fiennes as an ex asylum inhabitant who regresses to his childhood memories once leaving the asylum. Despite the talent involved its rather dull and slow, the shining light is the performances of Miranda Richardson, who plays three roles 4/10
