Avengers: Age of Ultron 8/10 Not quite as good as its predecessor but still an enjoyable movie.

final destination 1-5 overall 6/10 kind of suffered from lack of originality in each movie, it would have been good if they had explored tony todd's character a bit more. it was 5 films of killing people in different ways which is the standard horror flick. at least some do explain why or how that killer came about.

great movie version of Spooks. Good cast including Kit harrington and the Guy who plays the lead role in scorpian as a baddie. Love Tim mcinnery (Lord percy and Captain Darling from Blackadder ) role as a MI5 Boss he is a bit of a cunt which he plays to a tee Wink

The Bourne Supremacy.

Think this is my favourite of the original trilogy.
The Berlin and Moscow settings give it a kind of slightly nostalgic Cold War spy thriller type feel, but it's pretty much action all the way.
The climatic car chase feels more desperate than the similar New York one in the following film Ultimatum - that latter film seemed to me to be a bit of re-tread of the highlights of this film.

Legend - 4/10 - It was OK but wish I hadn't gone to the cinema to see this, it felt at times like a TV drama. Tom Hardy is good in it (as in the only acting of any note) but his Reggie Kray is accidentally hilariously OTT at times. Wait for for it on the small screen would be my advice

Master and Commander : Far Side of The World 8/10

Russell Crowe and Paul Bettany fighting fiendish Frenchies on the ocean during the Napoleonic Wars.

Not really a fan of Hornblower or these historical navy type things normally, but I thought this was good.

Good actors and seemed quite realistic : it's a fairly old film now so it doesn't appear like there's a whole of lot of CGI trickery.

Might be a bit slow for some - a lot of it is character driven but I found that worked - it meant there was more impact when folk were injured or killed as you'd seen a bit more of the interaction between them and their shipmates in the quieter pauses between battles. The battle scenes are fairly gruesome in some places. The younger actors are good as well - sobering to think there could be boys that young in naval service in those days, especially when you consider they probably weren't volunteers either.

I assume from the title there was potentially thought of follow-ups/franchise but I don't think it did enough box office. Shame really imo.
