Last film you watched

Just finished watching Angel-A...



A 2005 subtitled film, written and directed by Luc Besson; starring Jamel Debbouze and the astounding Rie Rasmussen. A sort of french version of It's a wonderful life, except this time the angel is a towering blonde amazon who likes smoking and kicking people's asses. But, as always, french cinema really looks at a subject and shows you the beautiful but mundane moment in a way completely opposite to how mainstream UK/US films would; which usually only manage to be trite and corny, just pretending to be deep to look deep. Great film. 8/10.

saw 7... pretty shit....

Finally got around to watching Control today. Excellent performance by Sam Riley as Ian Curtis (he's scarily good at the live stuff) and overall very good.
8/10

Hot Fuzz - ITV2 last night - 8 out of 10

Entertaining comedy, especially the extended gunfight of the last half hour.

die, was the film i watched last night. very odd concept but well acted, interesting story, a couple of good plot twists and a fair ending. 8/10
