The Man With The Golden Gun, looks and sounds great on blu ray. 7.9/10.

Gone Girl: 9/10 - great cast and very cool direction. Possibly a little too long would be the one criticism. And tomorrow I'm taking the kids to see The Maze Runner. Will report back on that one.

The Fifth Element 10/10 Never tire of seeing this movie. The right balance of odd ball humour and action.

Forrest Gump - 8/10

Pitch Black 8/10 The best of the Riddick trilogy.

300 Rise Of An Empire - I really liked the way they tell the story in parallel with 300, I think that worked really well and kept the story flowing! All I need to do now is go back and have another look at Eva Green's tits in slow motion

Yeah, yeah I know, but it got me in the mood for more Spartan madness so I couldn't resist and since it's the original it deserves 10/10.

Two action heroes from the 80s bring the pain (and the catchphrases) in two classic movies.

First Arnie is the special forces major kicking alien ass in the jungle in Predator (1987) - 4/5; then Bruce Willis is the cop kicking terrorist ass in the office block in Die Hard (1988) - 5/5

The gore flows, the baddies get wasted, the world gets saved and the killer quotes run like clockwork. Great action and great fun from two movies which you never get tired of watching.
