The Frozen Ground: based upon a true story John Cusack plays the role totally creepy and cold, Nicolas Cage was great in his role proving he is a good actor. The film is a bit slow to start off with but well worth sticking through till the end. 7.5/10.

Godzilla 8/10 a very good movie, far more in tune with the classic Japanese B movies than the Roland Emmerich version.

Godzilla - 8/10 - Not posted a movie rant for while so here goes Big Grin Thought this was great, every time I started to think about the plot too much or something started to annoy me then the director put Godzilla on screen. Yes parts of it were like an Emmerich disaster movie and the male lead was a poor mans Channing Tatum but Godzilla was the real star and he rocked. His slow burn appearance, his sound effects and his exit, all great.

Side note, for those that have seen it, is Godzilla the biggest cock blocker ever? Wink

2 Guns - 6/10 disappointing action buddy movie starring Denzil Washington and Mark Wahlberg, very predictable and not much plot.

Robocop 5/10 A strong cast with Michael Keaton, Gary Oldman and Samuel Jackson among others. Its not a bad movie just a bland one. The original was a product of its time, with the director wanting to reflect on what he saw as the shallow and uncaring side of American society. This movie loses all that and comes across as being somewhat soulless and uninspired.
I just don't see why they keep making reboots of fairly recent iconic films. The only decent ones I can think of are the Startrek movies.

Edge Of Tomorrow. 10/10
A film that mixes Groundhog Day and elements of the Halo game plus plenty of explosions and battle scenes is why I've given it full marks.

Raising Hell Since 1980.
