Rush: Fantastic film about one of the fiercest rivalries ever in sport between Formula 1 drivers James Hunt and Niki Lauda which especially focuses on the 1976 formula 1 world championship. chris hemsworth is fantastic as james hunt and is spot on with how james hunt actually was and Daniel bruhl is very good as niki lauda, getting him exactly spot on as well.

it's a good gripping story with a lot of effort and resarch gone into getting everything spot on about formula 1 in the 1970's and the 1970's in general which gives it a very authentic and accurate feel and the racing sequences are outstanding

9.5/10

2 Guns:

A decent action flick, with good snappy banter between leads Mark Wahlberg and Denzil Washington in undercover roles, attempting to bring down James Edward Olmos's Mexican drug lord.

Bill Paxton is great as a slimy corrupt CIA enforcer. Put your brain in neutral, sit back and enjoy the thrills and spills. 8/10.

Rush. 5/10 purely for Daniel Bruhl's portrayal of Niki Lauda which is superb.

For anyone who knows any of the details of the 1976 F1 season or has read any of the Hunt or Lauda biographies, I suspect the movie will be a huge anti climax.

Only 3 things in life are certain. Death, Taxes and lesbians will never look how they do in porn movies.

I, Robot (2004)

Caught this on Sky One last night. Hadn't seen it for a while, really enjoyed it. Nice to catch a really exciting film on regular Sky channels - especially when it's one you don't necessarily have to think about too much and can sit back and enjoy the action. Will Smith is excellent as the technophobe cop in an utterly possible future world. 4/5
