'La Haine' [Hatred] 1995 - starring Vincent Cassel, Hubert Koundé and Saïd Taghmaoui. Bleak, urban drama set in Paris, shot entirely in black and white. A violent film but, rather than glorifying, it aims to show the pointlessness of social violence and police brutality. Good film, even though the ending leaves you feeling somewhat empty. But I guess that was the point.

"jusqu'ici tout va bien".

Green Lantern - Extended Cut, i really enjoyed it, is it a Batman Dark Knight or Man of Steel no but i enjoyed probably with me because i know lot and i am a big Green Lantern. Ryan Reynolds played Hal Jordan perfectly as Hal in the comics is supposed to be a bit of asshole and full of himself. The special effects were amazing and even more so watching it on blu ray. It could have done with a strong villain but over a enjoyable film and Blake Lively looked stunning Tongue 8/10

Pacific Rim:

really good scifi film about aliens (kaiju) invading earth and humankind fights back by building giant robots called jaegers that are controlled by two humans. the special effects are outstanding and the battle scenes between kaiju and jagers are spectacular. isn't just about the kaiju and jagers though, a good amount of the film is devoted to the characters and the relationships between them

idris elba is really good as is Rinko Kikuchi as rookie pilot mako mori, the rest of the cast also play their part and a nice part for ron Perlman

8/10
