GI Joe:Retaliation
A very good sequel to the first GI Joe film, GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra. it follows on from the end of the rise of cobra which finished with cobra in control of the USA. in retaliation, Cobra pretty much wipe out the GI Joes and the handful of survivors have to stop cobra's latest attempt to destroy the world

good action sequences, good special effects and some great one liners. also get too see more characters from the 80's gi joe comic book both from cobra and the joes.

8/10

The Human Centipede (First Sequence). A complete one-note, non-entity of a movie. Crap.

Welcome To The Punch:

A thoroughly enjoyable action based crime flic. James McAvoy is great as the obsessive cop aiming to bring down top criminal Mark Strong who really excels in the hard man role. Well worth a watch. A solid 8/10

Resident Evil: Retribution 5/10. Ok in a switch off and watch lots of people shoot guns at each other for 90 minutes sort of way. Another movie that could have been a lot better with a bit of originality, thought and style put into it.

Deliverance (1972)

Four businessmen decide to get away for a weekend on a canoeing and fishing adventure in the mountains. Along the way they manage to upset an unhinged hillbilly clan and a brutal game of survival begins. Burt Reynolds and John Voight in possibly their best ever roles are the protagonists (or antagonists - depending on your point of view), while director John Boorman keeps the tension at breaking point throughout this unforgettable film. 4/5
