Shelter (2010)

Now I like Julianne Moore, I really do. I've seen her in so many different roles and have been a fan since Methuselah was alive. But (and this is a big but) every now and then she's in something which makes you wonder why she bothered. This is one such occasion. From start to finish, this film is ridiculous, totally confusing and deeply depressing. Normally I'd give a film at least one mark for there being a favourite actor / actress of mine in it. Not this time. 0/5

Prometheus 7/10 - finally got round to buying and watching this after missing it at the cinema, slow to start but builds to a quite thrilling climax. Lots of unanswered questions but i prefer movies that makes me think and this one certainly does that.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service, one of the only Bond films were it flashed back to the the previous Bond films(aside from Die Another Day which had previous gadgets from previous Bond films) and the classic line where Bond turns to the camera and says "This never happened to the other fellow" in reference to Connery's Bond lol
7/10.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Given the title I was expecting this to be a funny film. It's not. It's played fairly straight with typical formulaic vampires charging en-masse to their deaths. Despite this and the fact it feels a bit hurried it is certainly worth a watch. 6/10

RE: Last film you watched
Diamonds Are Forever, another good Bond tim, after George Lazenby departed the role after just one film, one because his agent said the bond series wouldn't last plus Lazenby got fed up of the role. Other actors were cast but didn't fit the role, Connery was made a offer he couldn't refuse. The film starts off with Bond going after Biofeld for killing his wife Tracy in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Two interesting facts about the film it was the first Bond film to have two openly guy characters and secondly there's a mistake where Bond and Tiffany have the car chase in the alley way in Vegas where the car goes on too its two wheels but when it exits the alley its on its two wheels but on the opposite side of the car. This happened the because the stunt was done right in the first place but the shots were unusable so it was done again but the stunt driver did it on the wrong side of car so it fix it the producers filmed a insert close up shot of Bond and Tiffany Case showing the car tip back on its 4 wheels and up to on it the opposite two wheels to fix the mistake lol.
A great sound track once again by Shirley Bassey, this was to be Connery's last official Bond film 8/10.
