It would be a gamble but might be the only way we'll ever get to host the World Cup again in our lifetime! Surely Blatter saw how great our Olympics was and realised we are a great host city for soccer tournaments.

they already knew that with Euro96 only way we will get it is if a host country fails to get it completed in time or there is trouble in the area. they will come to us with a few months notice because they know we have the stadiums and infastructure already built.

But if Platini followed Blatter into the job Platini would probably try to get the world cup staged in France every four years!! or at the North Pole!!

Great performance from Villarreal tonight against Madrid for a 2 - 2, Interesting that the starting 11 of Villareal was just over 7m where as Madrid cost over 350m. If they keep playing like that they could possibly win the league.
