i saw a tweet by stan collymore in which it stated mark clattenburg said "i don't give a monkeys" or words to that effect. this would explain the whole misunderstanding and exonerate both parties. does anyone know if this is the case?

To my understanding it was Chelsea's Remirez who made the claim of racial language,and Mikel said he never heard anything....

See that the potential loan move of Didier Drogba to Chelsea has been refused by FIFA..

do you think he will ever ref a chelsea game again i dont see how he can because of the history means he would never be impartial towards them. especially if he sues them. could be a good tactic in future though all teams have refs that always shaft them out of points a couple of fake racial abuse allegations and he wont ref them again. think all ref mics should be recorded this has taken a month to sort out

apparently there was an altercation in the refs room after the game where apparently mikel said he was gonna break clattenbergs legs or that was the allegation

Yep,those charges still stand against Mikel,but the use of racial language labeled against clattenburg were made by Remirez,which were unfounded & unsubstantiated hence Clattenburg's full & justifiable exoneration.

I bet there are a lot of other British Clubs that have used EBT's that were quite relieved that Rangers won their big tax case!

To be fair, the FA have made a point of saying that Ramirez acted in good faith and did no wrong.
Seems what happened was he thought he heard something said, and went to Mikel to seek clarification, 'is this really what I heard?' It's from there that it snowballed out of control. Why it went out of control is anyones guess, Mikel was the one speaking to the ref at the time, so he should have just said to Ramirez 'no, that didn't happen' end of story. Maybe it was a confusion because of different languages etc, but the thing that seems most clear is that Chelsea allowed it to escalate publically before properly and thoroughly investigating the facts. Had they investigated properly themselves, they may have realised that actually nothing happened and the FA case would have been unneccessary, and Clattenburg's character wouldn't have been at risk.

Maybe this is what happens when you have a club with such unstable leadership, where the people in positions of responsibility are constantly looking over their shoulders wondering if their number is about to be called.

I like how Clattenburg being cleared has left the "black lawyers association" looking a bit stupid for chiming in against Clattenburg with no evidence. Seems to me that a particular set of people will believe anything as long as their skin colour matches.
