Well there were two of them apparently, but but the Police have arrested him for affray.I'd give them more thasn just a medal!! That must make it a little easier for QPR to sack him.
I doubt if medals will given to his attackers, but I hope now it is the wake up call Barton needs to realise that he can't shoot his mouth off on Twitter.

We aren't told what his injuries are yet, but a guess I'd say that they're not eaxactly life - threatening. But what about this for a headline:- THUGS BEAT UP THUG.

i say the prick had it comin a while now, can't feel sorry at all for barton because he seem to be really unpopular guy in the U.K. right now!! if i was his girlfriend i'll dump his sorry loser ass quick time - soon enough she'll see that barton ain't a saint like she think he is

Jesus Christ there really rising up the rankings in the last few years, they have a really good, hard working team, its no surprise their up there. Although Fifa rankings can be misleading into how good a team is

european teams play more games than south american teams and have generally higher ranking points than other teams. ireland put a good run together against some good teams hence they are in the top 20. uruguay have been the best south american team over the last 2yrs thats why they are no.2 because they got many ranking points from games against brazil, chile, argentina. also chile 11th, colombia 20th shows how good the rest of south america is becoming.

I've seen pictures of a chicken in the Daily Star doing the same thing. Well at least there's a good chance if he doesn't pick England to win their games, it'll end up on the dinner table somewhere!!

I hope he''s found guilty, at least it will give QPR the opportunity to sack him for "gross misconduct" and save £11m quid on compensation!!
